🛠️ Fix: Tenancy End Date Calculation in Pre‑Tenancy
We’ve resolved an issue affecting how tenancy end dates are calculated when agreeing a new lettings offer.
✅ What’s been fixed
- The tenancy end date now correctly aligns with the agreed tenancy length when a preferred move-in date is set.
- For example, a 12‑month tenancy starting on 1st June will now correctly end on 31st May (instead of incorrectly showing 30th May).
- Users can now manually amend the end date where needed, ensuring full flexibility.
- The correct end date logic is now also applied to Rezi Post merge fields, so documents and communications reflect accurate tenancy dates.
💡 What this means for your agency
- Avoid costly mistakes: Ensures tenancy agreements and communications always reflect the correct dates.
- Save time: Removes the need for manual corrections or workarounds in pre‑tenancy setup.
- Stay compliant and professional: Accurate tenancy dates help prevent disputes and improve client trust.
