We’ve made several improvements to how Non-Resident Landlord (NRL) tax is tracked and managed in the system.
NRL tax retained is now stored against each landlord in a dedicated NRL account, separate from rent and cash balances.
2. New NRL retained funds section on the Accounts dashboard
The Accounts dashboard now includes a dedicated NRL Retained Funds section, giving you immediate visibility of total NRL tax being held.
📍Where you'll see it:
Accounts dashboard → NRL Retained Funds
3. New NRL Retained Funds Hub for central management
Clicking the NRL Retained Funds section on the Accounts dashboard opens a new
NRL Funds Hub, where you can:
- View total funds retained
- See how many landlords this affects
- View a per-landlord breakdown including residency status and reference
📍Where you'll see it:
Accounts dashboard → NRL Retained Funds → NRL Funds Hub
4. Withdraw retained NRL funds (with an audit trail)
From the NRL Funds Hub, agencies can now withdraw retained NRL funds in a controlled way. You can select one or more landlord balances to withdraw, and the withdrawal will be recorded for audit purposes.
📍Where you'll see it:
NRL Funds Hub → select landlord(s) → Withdraw funds
NRL Funds Hub → Withdraw transactions tab (audit trail)
