Improved People & Property Search – Clearer, Faster Matching

Following customer feedback and a review of how agents use search within Dezrez, we’ve refreshed the People and Property Search experience to make it faster, clearer and easier to use.
These improvements help agents find the right buyers, tenants and properties more quickly, with less scrolling and fewer clicks.


A Cleaner, More Focused Search Experience

We’ve introduced a new Search Card layout that keeps the most important information front and centre.
  • Key search criteria are clearly displayed at the top
  • Search results are visible immediately on first load
  • No more scrolling to find the View button
  • Results are easier to scan and act on
This means less time navigating the system and more time speaking to applicants and progressing deals.

Clear Matching Criteria – No Guesswork

Each matched property now clearly shows why it matches the search.
  • Matching criteria are explicitly displayed
  • Agents can quickly see how a property meets an applicant’s requirements
  • Removes uncertainty and supports more confident conversations with buyers and tenants
This makes shortlisting faster and improves the overall customer experience.



New Matching Options: Gardens & Garages

In response to customer requests, search matching has been expanded to include:
  • Gardens
  • Garages
This improves match accuracy and helps agents better meet lifestyle‑driven requirements.

Consistent Experience Across Dezrez

The updated search experience is now consistent across Dezrez:
  • The Search tab on the Person record
  • The Matching tab on the Property record
This consistency makes the system easier to learn, easier to use, and quicker for teams working across sales and lettings.


Improved Edit Search Criteria Screen

We’ve also improved how search criteria are edited.
  • A more compact layout
  • Key criteria prioritised in prime screen locations
  • Faster and easier to update searches as requirements change
This helps agents respond quickly to customers without unnecessary steps.
