Running Balance added to Property Management Account Transactions

Search, sort and filter deposits in Property Management

What's new:

You can now search, sort and filter the list of deposits held within a deposit account. Search matches on protected date, deposit amount, tenant name and property address, and works across the whole list rather than just the page you're on. You can also sort by the key columns.

What this means for you:

When an account holds hundreds or even thousands of deposits, you can go straight to the one you need instead of paging through everything. That makes it much quicker to investigate, allocate or release a deposit, and to answer customer or audit queries.

Where you'll see it:

  • Property Management → Accounts → the deposits held list within a deposit account

  • Property documents now shown in a document grid

    What's new:

Documents in the Property view now appear in a grid, replacing the previous slide-out panel. It matches the grid already used for tenancy documents and includes uploading, basic filtering, and options to make a document public or private.

    What this means for you:

Managing property documents now works the same way as tenancy documents and copes better when a property has a lot of documents, so they're easier to find and manage.

    Where you'll see it:

    1. Property Management → open a property → Documents

Landlord Proof of Address now shown on the Management Dashboard

    What's new:

The Management Dashboard now flags outstanding landlord Proof of Address alongside the tenant Proof of Address that was already there. Missing landlord Proof of Address appears in the incomplete-items list with a count, and selecting it opens the landlord list filtered to the records that still need it.

    What this means for you:

You get a clear dashboard prompt when landlord Proof of Address is missing, so it's easier to keep landlord records complete and chase gaps early rather than finding them later.

    Where you'll see it:

Property Management → Management Dashboard (incomplete items)

Improved accuracy across payments, reconciliation and balances in PM Accounts

    What's new:

We've made a series of improvements to Property Management Accounts, with a particular focus on making sure the figures you see when paying out, reconciling and viewing balances are accurate and consistent. This includes the amounts in the Money Due Out pay view lining up with the underlying payment figures, reconciliation completing reliably without errors, and landlord balances staying correct after a change of property owner. We've also made a number of smaller improvements behind the scenes.

    What this means for you:

You can have more confidence that the figures across payments, reconciliation and balances agree with each other, with fewer errors and mismatches to query.
