Improvements to arrears handling and payment workflows
Tenants in arrears
We’ve introduced a new Tenants in Arrears view within Customer Accounts, giving you a clear, central place to see which tenants have overdue, unpaid invoices.
Instead of digging into individual accounts, you can now quickly scan your portfolio and spot:
- Total arrears per tenant
- Available balance (cleared funds)
- Last payment activity
Arrears includes all overdue invoices, such as rent, deposits, and other charges, so you get a complete picture of what’s outstanding.
What this means for you
You can identify and prioritise tenants in arrears much more quickly, helping you take action sooner and stay on top of cash flow.
This is the first step in improving arrears management — we’ll soon be introducing the ability to send payment reminders directly from this view.
Where you’ll see it
Accounts → Tenants in Arrears
Payment references in Money Due Out
You can now add your own reference when making payments in Money Due Out.
You can enter a reference:
- Directly in the main list for quick entry
- Or within the expanded view when working in more detail
We’ll automatically add extra characters to the end to make sure each reference is unique.
Arrears includes all overdue invoices, such as rent, deposits, and other charges, so you get a complete picture of what’s outstanding.
