Property Management: document grids for tenants and landlords, and more accurate lists

2nd September 2026

Document grids now in the Tenant and Landlord views

What's new:
The document grid introduced for properties in August has now been rolled out to the Tenant and Landlord views, replacing the previous slide-out panel in both. As with properties and tenancies, the grid includes uploading, basic filtering, and options to make a document public or private.

What this means for you:

Documents now work the same way everywhere in Property Management, and the grid copes much better when a tenant or landlord has a lot of documents - so finding and managing them is quicker.

More accurate lists, dashboards and deposit views

What's new:
This release brings a series of improvements to Property Management, with a particular focus on making sure the lists and counts you rely on show the true picture. Several of the Management Dashboard counts — including tenant references required and proof of sanctions — now match the lists they open when you click through, and we're continuing to work through the remaining counts. Landlord and tenant groups no longer disappear from their lists in certain circumstances; a branch or filter selected while a list is still loading now applies correctly; and paging through Customer Accounts now shows every account exactly once. Deposit views have also been improved so reversed deposit allocations display correctly and holding deposits appear in the All Deposits view. Alongside these, document packs that include the property address now generate correctly, short-term tenancies now have their end date set automatically, and we've made a number of smaller improvements behind the scenes — including further strengthening the amount-entry checks introduced in August.

What this means for you:

Lists and deposit views now reflect the underlying records more faithfully, and the dashboard counts we've fixed line up with what you find when you click through — so there's less need to double-check a number or hunt for a record you know should be there. Improving the accuracy of the remaining dashboard counts is ongoing work, as is a related case where a tenant group can still be missing from the tenant list when a Right to Rent filter is applied.
