Running Balance added to Account Transactions

What's new:

We've added a Running Balance column to the All Transactions view in Property Management Accounts.

The running balance shows the cleared account balance after each transaction, making it easier to follow how receipts, payments and allocations affect the overall balance over time.

The Running Balance is also available for use in Account Statement templates within Rezi Post.


What this means for you:

You can now more easily understand how an account balance has changed by following the running balance alongside each transaction.

To ensure the information remains accurate, the Running Balance is only shown when it represents the true account balance. It will not be displayed for transaction views where filters would make the balance misleading.

If you use Account Statements in Rezi Post and would like the Running Balance to appear on your statements, you'll need to update your existing template (or create a new one) to include the new Running Balance column. Existing templates will continue to work as they do today until updated.

Where you'll see it:

  • Property Management → Accounts → All Transactions

  • Property Management → Account Statements (when using a Rezi Post template that includes the Running Balance column)
