Property Record Enhancements: New Sales Progression Tab

image

We've introduced a new Sales Progression tab on the property record, giving your team a single place to view both current and previous sales progression activity for a property.

 What's New?

A new Sales Progression tab now appears as the final tab on the property page.

Within the tab, sales progressions are organised into two clear sections:

  • Current Sales Progressions: Active sales currently progressing.
  • Historical Sales Progressions: Completed sales, withdrawn offers, and fallen-through transactions.

Each sales progression record displays key information including:

  • Vendor details
  • Purchaser details
  • Instruction type
  • Marketing and agreed sale prices
  • Key milestone dates
  • Status
  • Latest progression note, including author, date, title and details

Users can open any progression directly from the property record using the View option.

 Historical Progressions Remain Accessible

Previously, once a sale fell through or an offer was withdrawn, accessing progression information could become difficult from the property record. With this update, historical progression records remain visible, making it easier to answer questions such as:

  • Has a survey already been completed?
  • Were searches carried out?
  • Why did a previous sale fall through?
  • What issues were raised during progression?

This information is available alongside the property's active sale history.

 Read-Only Protection for Historical Records

Historical sales progressions are displayed in a read-only format.

This protects the integrity of completed or failed transactions while still allowing staff to review previous activity when speaking with vendors, buyers, solicitors, or colleagues.

Current active sales progression workflows remain unchanged.

 Clear Status Indicators

Progression statuses are colour coded to improve visibility:

 Benefits

✅ Quickly answer vendor and buyer questions without searching through multiple records.

✅ Retain visibility of previous sales activity when a property returns to market.

✅ Improve handovers between negotiators and sales progressors.

✅ Reduce time spent investigating historic transactions.

✅ Present a more informed and professional experience when dealing with solicitors and clients.

✅ Keep all progression history linked directly to the property, further strengthening Dezrez as your central hub for managing sales activity

This is the last in the initial set of changes for Sales Progression. Hopefully  this group of changes will help fill the gap in missing functionality and also improve the experience for Sales Progressor user segment.

AI-Powered Content Improvements for Property Marketing

image

We continue to enhance our core AI offering with improvements to both the Property Summary Description and Main Marketing Text features.

A new Suggest Improvement button is now available within each section, providing sales and lettings agents with an additional layer of review before property details are published. The AI analyses the existing content and suggests property-specific enhancements, helping agents create more engaging, accurate, and professional marketing descriptions with less effort.

As with all AI functionality within Dezrez, dedicated agency, branch, and user-level permissions are available. This gives agents complete control over who can access and use the feature, ensuring it can be enabled or disabled in line with business requirements.

 Key Benefits

  • Create stronger property descriptions in seconds.
  • Improve the quality and consistency of property marketing.
  • Reduce the time spent reviewing and refining listing content.
  • Support both sales and lettings workflows.
  • Maintain full control with flexible permission settings at agency, branch, and user level.

Improvements Made

 Grammar & Spelling

  • Corrected spelling mistakes such as "functionlaity" to functionality.
  • Improved sentence structure and readability.

Clarity

  • Replaced technical wording with clearer, agent-focused language.
  • Explained the purpose of the new Suggest Improvement button more clearly.

Tone

  • Focused on business benefits including time savings, consistency, and improved property marketing.
  • Reinforced agent control through configurable permissions.

Bug Fixes

Fixed: An issue where generating an EPC could fail with the error message "Job failed, not retrying". In these cases, an EPC image would appear in the EPC tab, but the EPC document would not be generated or displayed in the Documents tab. EPCs now generate correctly and are available in both locations.

Improvements made

  • Clarity: Simplified the description of the issue and outcome.
  • Consistency: Uses consistent terminology for EPC generation and document locations.
  • User-focused: Clearly explains the impact on estate agents and the resolution.
