Custom Appointment Types for Greater Diary Flexibility

We've introduced a new way to manage appointment types, giving estate and letting agents far more flexibility when configuring their diaries.

What's New?

Administrators can now create and manage their own appointment types within System & Preferences, allowing agencies to tailor diary appointments to suit their business processes.

Examples of appointment types that can now be added include:

• Travel Time
• Day In
• Survey
• Mortgage Valuation
• Photography
• Measure Up
• Revisit
• Offer Qualifier
• Second Viewing
• Completion
• EPC

Each custom appointment type can have its own:

• Name
• Colour
• Product availability (Dezrez, Property Management, or both)

Easier Diary Management

Custom appointment types behave like a General Appointment, providing all the flexibility agents need while allowing clearer diary categorisation.

Supported functionality includes:

• Property selection
• Branch assignment
• Negotiator assignment
• Attending groups
• Appointment title and description
• Meeting location
• Recurring appointments

Appointment colours are also displayed throughout the diary, helping teams quickly identify appointment purposes at a glance.

Product-Specific Appointment Types

Administrators can control where appointment types are available:

• Dezrez only – available within sales and lettings CRM.
• Property Management only – available within PM workflows.
• Both products – available across the entire platform.

This helps ensure appointment lists remain relevant to users and reduces diary clutter.

 Core Appointment Types Remain Protected

Standard Dezrez appointment types remain available and cannot be edited or deleted, ensuring key platform functionality is preserved while still giving agencies the freedom to add their own appointment categories.
