Tenancies – Accounts Tab
In this guide I will show you how to manage the tenancies tab in Rezi PM. Here you can see all of the financial transactions made on this tenancy. Every entity in Rezi will have an accounts tab like Landlord, Tenant or Contractor and all will have the same functionality. In this example, I’ll show you the tenancy accounts tab.
Once you have found your tenancy, simply click on it. In the tenancy screen you can click the tabs across the middle for ‘Account’.
In this screen you will see 6 sub tabs. They are explained below:
All Transactions – This tab will include all transactions for this particular tenancy. It will show money received and money paid all in one screen. You are able to raise and adjustment from here by clicking on the 3 little lines on the side of the payment.
From the adjustment section, you are able to add a new amount into this payment to bring it in line with you online banking.
You can also raise a reversal which will mark the payment as being paid back to the sender. You can also do this from the 3 little lines to edit.
Payment – This tab will show all money that have been completed and outstanding for these tenancies. So any rent that has been paid, needed or arrears are seen here in one list. Again, you can use the 3 little lines to edit any of the payments.
Receipts – This tab will show you any money that has been paid for this tenancies. From the 3 little lines you can also edit the payment, to make as uncleared as well as Reversals and adjustments.
Payable – This tab will show you all the money that is able to be paid for this tenancy. So rent that is collected and ready to be paid to the landlord can be seen here. It will show any deductions like fee or money owed on jobs here.
Receivable - This tab is more of an interactive tab. It will allow you to pay the money that is due on this tenancy. So, any rent that needs to be paid can be done from here. You’re more than likely do it from the money due in section, but it can also be done from here. You can view the invoice from here and send any letters or emails about this rent demand. Click the 3 little lines to open the invoice option.
Deposits – This section will show you all the info on the deposits for this property. It can show you if it’s unprotected and how to protect it with a scheme. It’s protected it will also inform you of this.
Once the tenancy has ended, then you can release the deposit back to the tenant. This will need to be done by the scheme, so you’re basically marking this in the system after it has been agreed the amount to return. You can also include any deductions in here for cleaning or if something has broken.
