Calendar Sync

Calendar Sync

The easiest way to set up calendar sync is by following the steps below. Once you have confirmed with us that you wish to use calendar sync, we will switch it on our end, then simply follow some easy steps to finish the process.

Once logged in on Rezi, visit this link  https://rezi.dezrez.com/#MyProfile .

This will show you the My Profile section of the system, and in the middle area, there is a blue "Setup Now" link.
Click this link to manually start the process without an invitation email. Once you have done this, follow the steps below.

Alternatively, contact a Dezrez support representative who will send you a setup email.

You will then be presented with a calendar sync setup window and be asked to select the software you are using. This refers to the software for the current calendar on your device.

Note: You can choose from a range of calendars on many devices but there are some standards we would recommend sticking with.

Apple device's such as an iPhone would use “iCloud”
Google Pixel devices or someone with a Gmail account would normally select “Google”
Samsung device's and PC's, would normally use one of the remaining three depending on the age of the device, and configuration.
If you are unsure which email client or calendar based software you use, we recommend contacting your local IT.
For the purpose of this guide we will be setting up email sync on a PC which is running Microsoft Office 365.

Click on the “Office 365” button. You will then be requested to agree to the terms of service, and Link your accounts.
The second window you will see should ask your permission to allow the add on and link with your device.

Finally a confirmation window when the account link is complete, should appear.

How to enable the Calendar
Once the Calendar Sync is setup, it will appear as a second calendar on your device it does not link into your personal calendar, this means you may need to enable it to see your appointments.  To enable the calendar login to your mail client and navigate to the calendar section, continuing from the setup screen to show your “Office 365” calendars.

Down the left hand side of this screen you will see all the shared calendars you have access to.
Rezi is now a shared calendar, but is not yet enabled.

To enable, tick the box, next to Rezi.
This now opens a second calendar labelled Rezi.

This calendar acts as a live sync with the Rezi system, whether you are logged into Rezi or not.
To make working with this calendar easier you can also untick your default calendar if you wish.

How to add appointments
A good way to make sure your calendar has synced correctly for your first time use, is to find a day you already have appointments booked and make sure it matches your newly linked calendar. Opening the Rezi calendar on your linked device. Fill in a subject, location, time of day and any additional information.

Once you save this appointment it will appear in your linked calendar, and your online Rezi calendar when you log in.
To have the appointment show up in your linked calendar, book the appointment in Rezi as you usually would and it will appear in your linked calendar with all of the information required in the Notes section.

Note that because we have book this from Office 365 it shows as a normal appointment in Rezi. This will happen for all the appointments you book from outside of Rezi using your linked calendar, because in this instance Office 365 does not know what a valuation appointment is other than time in the diary.
If you were to book a re-occurring appointment in your linked calendar, Rezi can understand this and book a single appointment for each re-occurring time.
If this appointment is only booked for week days, Rezi will assess this information and also only book for weekdays.

Cancelled appointments will not show in your linked calendar but will still be visible in Rezi. Unless you delete this appointment from your linked calendar then it will be deleted from your Rezi calendar too.
