Before we Begin
Before you begin you need to make
sure your branch is setup for email sync. The setup is required per branch. If
someone else in your branch is using email sync already, this step is covered.
If your branch is new to email sync you will need to have your local IT fill in
the below form, and submit a ticket through our help centre.
IMAP
Server Address | | Port | |

Once support has confirmed this is
set up for your branch you can continue.
Enter
your synced email account details
The first step is to tell Rezi, which
email account we want to set up your sync with.
To Start login to Rezi as normal, and
access the "My Profile" section, by clicking on this link My Profile .
From here you need to click the
pencil in the email sync set up area, to enter your account details
When the input fields appear, fill in
your email account username/email address and password. Please remember this is
your email account password, not your Rezi account password.

Finally click "Save"

What
changes for me?
If
all the previous steps were followed, and the username and password you entered
where correct. Next time you log into your emails, either online or via your
preferred mail client
You will see a new group of folders
labelled "Rezi-Imported"
In the below
screenshots we use Outlook 365 online in the dark colour scheme and Outlook
2016 local install in the light colour scheme. For the same account.

How
to use your email sync
In order to sync emails, from your mail client to Rezi, so they appear on the timeline for you. Linked the relevant group, there are a few things you need to do.
You need to make sure the
"To" or "From" email address is linked to a group card in
Rezi.
Then you need to move the emails that
you want to sync into the "Queue" folder.
Lastly, you need to log into Rezi and
from your sidebar, click the "Start Sync" button.
Any outbound emails you put into the
Queue folder that syncs correctly will be moved to the "Sent" folder
under "Rezi Imported". It will also add a timeline event into Rezi
against the appropriate/related group.
· 5
Any inbound emails you put into the
Queue folder that syncs correctly will be moved to the "Received"
folder under "Rezi Imported". It will also add a timeline event into
Rezi against the appropriate/related group.
· 6
Any emails, inbound or outbound. That
fails to find an appropriate group to sync to in Rezi, will be moved to the
"Failed" folder under "Rezi Imported". In this instance no,
timeline event is entered anywhere.
