In this guide, I will show you how to add a certificate and license to a property.
First, you must search for the property by clicking properties on the left-hand side of the screen and either choosing the property from the list or searching for it in the top right-hand side.
Once on the property please click the tab called certificate and licenses. This will then take you to a table where your certificates and licenses should be held. If it’s blank then you need to upload a certificate.
Simply click on the upload a certificate button on the right-hand side of the screen where a window will appear allowing you to fill in the boxes.
You are then able to select the type of certificate be it a gas certificate or EPC from the drop-down menu. If the certificate you are after isn’t included in the drop-down please select other which will give you the option to add a title into the certificate. For example, this could be a CO2 certificate.
Once you’ve selected the type you can allocate valid from invalid dates to the certificate. If you select from the drop-down an EPC for example it’ll automatically add it for now and 10 years in the future as that’s how long an EPC is valid for. It does this for other certificates as well like gas safety being 12 months.
You’re able then to select browse in the blue button allowing you to open up the PC and select the correct certificate or license. When you click on the document that you need simply press open that will then upload that document specifically for this certificate or license. Press okay when you’re finished.
You should now be able to see the document in the list with the details you’ve added in such as a valid from invalid to and the status.
Remove a Certificate or Licence
To remove a certificate or license from this particular section, you can simply click on the three lines at the very end on the right-hand side of the screen next to the property. Click the option where a pop-up will appear allowing you to click remove certificate.
It will ask you to confirm this before removing the certificate from this section. Please note that this removes the certificate from this particular section. However, it does not remove it from the document section on the top right-hand side of the property, it will remain in this section for reference.
