This guide will show you how to set up Rezi Screenz using an Amazon Fire stick.
It is a customer interactive window solution enabling 24/7 advertising that your customers can engage with and take control of. Rezi Screenz can update the window displays allowing lead generation even when your office may be closed.
The first time you use your Fire Stick there will be some set up steps. Plug in the Fire TV Stick to your TV HDMI Port and a power source; this can be
a plug or a USB port on the back of your TV. At this stage please also make sure the remote has
charged batteries in it.
Power on your TV and Navigate to the HDMI source that you have plugged your Fire TV
Stick into. This is normally found via the TV’s menu under “Source” or “Input”. This may vary
for your TV. Once here you will be presented with a screen as below and asked to connect your Fire
TV Stick to your WIFI. You should see the name of your WIFI network displayed; if you do not you may be out of
range of your WIFI router. Follow the instructions, connecting to wifi you may need to enter your Wifi password.
Once you are connected you will be asked to register an account or create a new one. If you have previously created an Amazon account enter these details here or simply create a new one now.
Once this is installed you will see the Rezi Screenz app on your homepage Click to open the app and you will see the following page.
Click 'Authenticate' and here you will be asked to enter your Rezi details. Once you have entered these details you will be logged into Screenz and will be presented with the following page. You will now need to configure your Rezi Screenz. We have supplied templates and set up options.
To use your Screenz, you will need to configure some settings. In display settings you can chose your Display name and Brand. This menu will also allow you to give control to 'Passers by' which is a huge party of the software functionality.
Once you are happy with your display settings, navigate to the 'Property Search' settings. Here you can control which properties are displayed and the order they are displayed in. . Finally select your 'Remote settings' to configure. These allow you to set permissions to take control of the Screenz carousel by potential clients.
This section is important to note as it controls who may access what parts of the software and for how long.
Options:
“Timeout Users After How Many Seconds Of Inactivity” : This will enable you to set a time out feature due to inactivity on a customers device. The user will be given an alert on their screen before they are timed out due to inactivity. It is important to set this so that a user does not remain connected once they have stopped looking through your properties.
“Warn User Before Timeout Is Up” : As described above this allows you to adjust the time of the inactivity alert. This is something to carefully consider; if you set a time out
interval of “30s” and an alert of “20s” to go, this would result in the alert activating every
“10s” of inactivity.
“Url to navigate to when user has finished” – Once someone has been using
the remote-control settings on their mobile, and they click disconnect it will close the app,
and then re-direct them to a website. By default, this setting will navigate to the Dezrez
website. However, you could enter the URL for the property page on your
website.
Follow Up Email
The Follow up email is sent to the user when they leave the app, showing any details
of the properties they have liked while in control. This appears like a mail out you would perform
from Rezi itself. The important setting to configure here is the “From Address” and “From Name”
to direct replies.
To start your property slideshow
Navigate back to your main menu and select 'Start display'. Your screens should now be up and running.
Additional information
Rezi Screenz Stickers can be found in the display settings under 'Unique ID'. You can order stickers with a unique way for your customers to take control of your interactive display. They can simply hold an NFC enabled
smart phone up to the stickers and start interacting with the screen. Navigate to the settings menu and
choose the top Display settings
options. FInd the setting for 'Unique ID' on this list and click into it.
You will then be presented with a pop up. Make a note of
the ID and click 'order' in the bottom
right of the screen to order your
sticker.
When you receive your sticker, make
sure you match it to the correct
display in your agency if you have
multiple displays setup. This is done
by matching the ID printed on the
sticker to the ID you noted earlier.
