Switching Portals

Switching Portals

WARNING: Until your portals are switched, you must duplicate any information for live properties in Rezi and your old software. The portals will still feed from your previous software until you have completed this checklist and confirmed the switch. Other activities such as diary entries, updating notes, contacting applicants etc can still be run through Rezi.

Requesting Your Switch

A portals switch must be requested directly with the portals that you use (e.g. Rightmove and Zoopla), you would need to contact any portals that you use to advise that your software provider is Rezi and require them to initiate the portals switch.
A portals switch takes around 48 hours to complete and is not performed on a Friday.

Preparing Properties For The Switch

To prepare for your portal switch you will need to ensure that your properties are correctly setup for marketing and portals access.

Each property must have a Summary Property Description, and Main Marketing Text. Also, be aware of the required address fields:

Each property that you want on portals will need to have marketing started and the send to portals button ticked.

Finding The Properties

To find the properties that are either not on the market or not set to send to portals you can use the filters on the property lists, when you are on the list you will be able to use the filters button to show the marketing flag options.
First set it to show the properties that are not on the market - then go through these properties and for the ones you want online set them to on the market and available for portals.
Next set it to show the ones that are on the market but are not sending to portals, go into any of these that properties and  update them to sending to portals if they need to be sent.
This will need to be done on both sales and lettings, please ensure you also do this for any STC or let agreed properties you want on portals as well.

All migrated properties will be automatically set to a marketing status of ‘not marketed’, to ensure that property details can be checked and confirmed prior to making properties live.
If the count of properties you currently have on portals differs from what will be shown once you start feeding from Rezi, our portals team will be unable to complete the switch without you confirming you are happy to proceed with the different count.
