In this guide, I'll show you how to use the Links Migration Assistant. Linkz is a system migration tool that allows you to import information from 3rd party software. In this example I'll show you how easy it is to migrate from a software like Jupix into Rezi.
When you open your Rezi software, you will have a dashboard containing the Links Migration Assistant. It is important to read the details presented at this point as the home page is showing you how to get started with Linkz.
When using the system, it is important not to navigate to another page or close the browser whilst an import is taking place. Ensure you stay on the page whilst the imported is being completed and only navigate away once the import is done and the option to view the property or the person is available.
The first area to check is the settings section. Here you will be able to see what information is provided in each area of the Linkz menu. To access the menu, click the 'cog' icon in the top left of the window.
Once clicked, the settings menu will appear and you can tick all of the areas that you want to be able to see in the Linkz tool. Include statuses information about people and also data rangers. For example you could look back all the valuation properties you had in 2020 to allow them pulling back into Rezi.
Once you have made any changes or to exit out of the settings, click Save Settings (even if nothing has changed or click on the 'cog' icon).
Events
To start importing information into the system, click on Events. Here is will show you all future and past events that have been entered into Jupix. Viewings and offers.
Valuations are imported by importing properties in the "Valuations" section of the Property Lists within the settings.
The details will show in chronological order (this can be changed in the settings) with the most recent or future appointments at the top of the screen.
When ready, click import to being the process of adding these details to Rezi.
Before you commit to the import, you can add details if needed to all available areas. For example, you can click 'Look up' to make sure the address is correct and also add telephone numbers if needed etc.
If there is an issues with the system, stoping the import you will be presented with a warning.
You must click on the area with the warning and fix the information before continuing. On the example below, we can see there are no contact details for the solicitor. These must be entered in order to carry on with the import.
Once we have entered the details, the warning will disappear and we can continue to import the event.
Click Import Property. As the import is completing, you will see the below screen.
As the information is imported you will see in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, small green boxes providing you with updates informing you of what has been added.
Since we are importing an Event, once the property has been imported, Linkz knows that the Purchaser also needs to be imported. So once the property is completed, you will be presented with the Group or Person information.
As this information appears, if anything needs to be completed on the Group or Person, you will see a warning against the relevant category as before. Correct the information and click Import Group.
Once the import is complete, you will see the green box in the corner. From here you can click onto the box to view the group.
The Event has now been imported into Rezi. You can navigate to the diary in Rezi and see the appointment there as well.
Once you have entered all of the future events into Rezi, you can begin entering all of the hiistoric events, if needed.
Properties
To import properties from Linkz, click on the Properties tab. A list of all properties at different status's will be present. The stats can be changed within the settings menu and choosing what you would like to appear within properties.
When you go to Properties, you will see a list of all available properties too import.
Click on Import on the property you wish to import. The Import menu will appear and show you all areas of the property that will be imported. You can add to this section iif you wish before you import the property.
Same as in Events, if there is anything wrong with the details, you will be presented with a warning that must be rectified before you can continue and import the property.
Once the warning has been removed, click Import Property. Once the property has been imported, you can click on the green box, which will open a new tab and show you the property imported into the system.
Sales Applicants, Vendors and Companies
When importing sales applicants, you will be presented with a list. The system with tell you if there is a duplicate or if they appear twice.
To import someone from the sales applicant area, click on Import.
Before you click on Import Group, you can now enter additional info into the system if needed. Also if there are any errors;
The system will present a warning to you ensuring you make the changes before you can continue.
Once you have made the changes needed, you can click on Import Group. When the import is complete, you can click on to the green box and view the group inside of Rezi.
If you are importing someone who has a duplicate, you will be presented with an option of Use in-place of this group.
After clicking this option, it will replace the record inside of the system with the duplicate and only leave one inside of Rezi. To check the right one, you can load one record in Rezi and the other in Linkz and compare the two so you can decide which one to import.
When importing a group that appears twice, once you click import you can edit the details as above.
Once the import has been completed the Linkz tool will now show the Sales Applicant will appear as a duplicate instead of appearing twice.
The process for importing any additional vendors into the system is the exact same process as above.
The main difference between importing Properties to Sales Applicant and Vendors is the ability to import multiples of up to 10. This is done by clicking on the Import tick box running down the left hand side of the Linkz Migration assistant.
Once the boxes have been ticked, click the Import button at the top of the page.
