This guide sheet will take you through the process of Writing up a Property within the Rezi system.

Watch our webinar on Property Write Ups here

You have access to the right up tab as soon as the property has been created. This can be accessed from the right up tab on the property side as seen in the image below. This will be available to you from pre-valuation all the way through to completed and shown on any historical properties as well.

Start by clicking on the Write Up tab.

You will start on the description sub-tab, which will allow you to start with the write up of the property. You can also see the sub-tabs for Photos, virtual tours, EPC, location and brochures.

On the 'Descriptions' tab, this will show and allow you to enter all of the rooms and features. The tab will be split into two sections, one for the descriptions and one for the property features.

See our video on the description tab here

You will start by adding the style and age (most will have been complete from the valuation) main rooms (bedrooms, reception rooms, bathrooms and others). Now start entering the amenities (gardens, parking spaces and garages). Once this area has been added in it will now ask you for Tags.

When completing this area, Tags are extremely important. This will create the basis of your searches for your
applicants. You can click into the tag box and then start typing, if the tag already exists it will appear below, and then press the enter key or click on the plus and that will add the tag into your system.

Alternatively, you can click on or choose from list. This will show a list of tags that have been entered into the system in alphabetical order. From here you can click on as many tags as needed for your property.

When you have tagged your property click on the blue word back.

You will now add the local authority and any charges applied to the property.

After this, you will now enter any Keys and Alarm codes and also any special arrangements. To enter these details, click on the pencil icon and enter in the information needed.

You must click on the Add arrangement or add key to add them to the system

It is displayed on your web site property listing, portal search listings, and printed window cards. To add the information, click into the empty box and to edit any existing text, click on the pencil icon.

This area of Rezi will set up the Property Feature section for you property, or commonly known as bullet points.

(all examples below will use Rightmove) if you have used bullet points before then it will remember these items allowing you to quick type them in.

Once this is complete you will move on to the Main Marketing Text box. This describes the best features of the property. Use this as your main marketing text to make the property sound amazing! It is displayed on your web site property details, portal property details and printed media. To add the information, click into the empty box and to edit any existing text, click on the pencil icon.

Room Descriptions comes next on the page. This is where you can enter individual rooms and areas and also include their dimensions and descriptions. By clicking on the plus button and selecting either Room or Floor/Area and then adding the information. To edit any existing text, click on the pencil icon.

This information will sit underneath the main description in Rightmove.

If you have any other information that you feed to your portals, such as Location, External, Travel etc, then you have additional text boxes that you can use. These can be renamed so you know what information will added to which area of your portals. To add the information, click into the empty box and to edit any existing text, click on the pencil icon.

There is an option here to Set as Property Image. This option can be used to set the image at the top of the property page if you are awaiting photographs of the property and to set as default when searching for properties.

The last feature on completing a write of a property is marking Points of Interest. POI’s in the system can be assigned by individual categories. The categories are School/College/University, Bus Stop, Train/Tube station, Park, Pub, Car Park, Post Office, Amenity, Hospital/Doctor, Dentist, Police Station and Homeopath.  The way to add these to the system is to click and drag the point of interest marker onto the map and drop it onto a POI.

Once you have dropped the marker you will be prompted to give the POI a name and assign it to a category.

Once you have given it a name and assigned a category you will click on save. This will add to the list within Rezi.

As you add the POI’s into the system, they will be added to an internal list for all your properties. Meaning if you instruct another property close by, the POI’s will already be attached on the location tab. Once the marker is added is will be listed in the Nearest section at the bottom of the screen under the map.

This will show you the POI and how far it is away (as the crow flies) in miles. The more you zoom out from the map, the more POI’s will be displayed and the distances altered accordingly. To filer which categories appear, click on the View Others tab and drop down arrow and click on each one to add or remove from the list.
